Eragon and Saphira are already communicating and reading each other’s thoughts. They were meant for each other.

p. 6 – Genesis 3:8a

We were created to fellowship with God and communicate with Him. God would come to the Garden of Eden in the cool of the day and just hang out with Adam and Eve.

When Adam and Eve sinned, mankind became separated from God.  Jesus came to restore that relationship of oneness with God.

Eragon was still a beginner when it came to riding Saphira. But even as a beginner, he was able to connect with her and see through her eyes. As the movie continues, they truly do fight as one – and they win.

Without Saphira, Eragon’s abilities were limited. But when he connected with Saphira, he had the benefit of being able to use her abilities, as well as his own.

When we connect with God, we have the benefit of being able to use His abilities and tap into His resources.

In the end, Eragon and Saphira defeat the evil enemy, and so will you.

We will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. We will be one with Him.

We can experience the abundant life Jesus talked about – more than that – we NEED to.
